The Sierra County Historical Society wants to hear from you! Join a public meeting this weekend to brainstorm moving forward with a preservation or resource plan for the Sierraville School. Where: Sierraville School When: Saturday, Oct. 20, 1 p.m. The Historical Society was able to get the school listed with the Park Service on the National Register of Historical Places. Now they are seeking input from community members to find a way to put the beautiful school to better use for all of us to enjoy and to make a plan on how to preserve the building.
