Sierra County is working towards installment of an Omni directional tower for high speed internet through Plumas Sierra REC’s fibre optic line, which will benefit Sierraville residents. Apparently, they began providing this service to Sierra Brooks residents in Loyalton in March.
Verizon has also pulled a permit to install a tower in Sierraville.
