Blaze the Art Trail
The art and agricultural communities of Plumas and Sierra Counties cordially invite you to take part in the Sierra Valley Art & Ag Trail, coming up on September 24, 2022. Spend an awesome autumn day, enjoying the history, culture and bounty of the treasured Sierra Valley.
Visitors will travel the Sierra Valley Art & Ag Trail at their own pace, enjoying Sierra Valley barn quilts and opportunities to visit market farms, working ranches, and other historic buildings, hosting local artists of every medium – wood, paint, glass, ceramic, metal, fiber and more.
To help manage the flow of people and traffic throughout the event, visitors are encouraged to start their Art + Ag Trail at one of the four Trailhead information centers conveniently positioned around the Sierra Valley:

Trailheads locations open at 9:00 a.m. These event starting points provide opportunities to visit with local artists, pick up or purchase passports, SVAAT merchandise, Event Maps and plan the rest of your day with a knowledgeable volunteer.
Kick-Off Event
Kick off the Art + Ag Trail weekend with dinner and a concert at the Lost Marbles Ranch, starting at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 23. Enjoy barbecued pulled pork sandwiches and rotisserie chicken prepared by When Pigs Fly catering, throw back a cold one from the incredible Cattlewomen's cash bar, then kick back for a hooting and hollering performance of the legendary Sourdough Slim starting at 7 p.m. Seating is limited. Passport To Adventure
To help the SVAAT pay for event expenses, a $25 donation will earn you 2 prize drawing tickets and a limited-edition Sierra Valley Art + Ag Trail Passport, featuring iconic photographs from the Sierra Valley.
