Pastor Hoag retired from Truckee's Sierra Bible Church on January 1st this year. He has long held a love for the Sierra Valley. He and his wife Sandy come through and stop in Sierraville often, driving in their convertible with the top down on beautiful summer or fall days sometimes. They both enjoy all there is to savor and appreciate here.
With the departure of Pastor Dave last May from the Sierraville Community Church, the congregation has been making due. In January 2022, Sierra Bible Church in Truckee will be providing guest lecturers to the pulpit and in February, a church in Graeagle will be helping out by sending over some of their church leaders to fill the vacancy.
Services are held at Sierraville Community Church at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
